The proposed Art Walk will act as an aesthetic and functional link between the parking area and the new Art Gallery. This one-of-a-kind visual experience will allow for permanent display of student and non-student works. Art pieces arranged around a scenic pedestrian walk will be intermixed with flowering ornamental trees, signage and interpretive stations which will educate people on different forms of sculpture and outdoor art – becoming an inspirational approach for students, staff and visitors of the EAC and EHS.

Update July 23, 2011:

Members of the Edwardsville Arts Center board of directors met at the sculpture garden with John Mikes of Gateway Lawn Service to finalize work plans to begin the garden. The board measured and marked the landscape architecture plans supplied by Site Signatures.
