This Watercolors class is great for beginners! Students will learn the basics of how to use watercolors, the tools used to paint with them, and will end class with a completed artwork and the knowledge to create more. See below for a detailed class schedule.
Class 1. Explore watercolor surfaces, tools and paints
Class 2. Practice watercolor techniques to make sample cards for future reference
Class 3. Paint a 9 x 12 using transparent watercolor
Class 4. Paint a 9 x 12 using gouache paint.
Classes 5 & 6. Prepare and paint a watercolor on 11" x 15” 100% cotton Arches paper.
There will be 11 x 14 mats available for the 9 x 12 paintings at $5.00 each and 16 x 20 mats for the 11 x 15 painting at $10.00 each.
