In this class we’ll use clay slabs to build a variety of forms including cups, vases, and more! Students will learn how to prepare their clay, roll it into a slab, and attach the edges to build their desired shape. After our pieces are finished and dry, we’ll glaze and fire them to be taken home - all of our glazes are food safe.
This class is great for beginners AND those who have experience with clay. 6-week classes can be taken multiple times to help improve your skills.
After students have taken an Intro ceramics class with us, they are welcome to join us at Open Studio on Tuesday evenings! Class is $10/night, and students are asked to purchase a bag of clay and associated glaze. Both can be purchased on our website HERE.
