6th-8th Grade: Drawing with Pastels

In this class, students will use pastels to create colorful, textured artwork. We’ll explore chalk pastels as well as oil pastels, and learn how each can be used to emphasize different aspects of a concept. Techniques we’ll cover will include color mixing, blending, and creating various textures.
