Daniel Price
Description Daniel Price is a potter in Edwardsville Illinois where he creates unique sculptural and utilitarian ceramics. Hailing from Cape Girardeau Missouri Daniel moved to Illinois in pursuit of his education in the fine arts. Attending Lewis and Clark Community College for his associates degree in fine arts, Daniel realized he wanted to make a career of his passions in art. This led to him transferring to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for his Bachelors in Fine Arts with an emphasis in ceramics. Daniels ceramic work lives between two realms one being the realm of traditional functional ceramics within the style of american folk pottery and the other being of sculptural exploration pulling inspiration from sci-fi horror art and movies. He has been working towards melding the two bodies of work into a functional ceramics with biomorphic sculptural details that gives a little twist to your everyday utilitarian dinnerware.goes here
