9th-12th Grade: Character Creation

9th-12th Grade: Character Creation

In this class, students will learn all about how to design, draw, and paint characters they love! We’ll use writing prompts and brainstorming sessions to create characters that will come alive on paper. After conceptualizing our characters, students will utilize techniques used for cartooning and illustration to draw and/or paint their characters. This class is great for students who want to learn how to draw people, and those interested in learning more about illustration or animation.

*Art-making requires consistent practice. All 5-6-week classes can be taken multiple times to help students improve their skills.
