9th-12th Grade: Wheel Throwing

9th-12th Grade: Wheel Throwing

In this class, students will learn how to use the potter’s wheel to create forms such as cups, bowls, plates, and more! Wheel throwing is a fun, challenging, and relaxing method of making pottery. After making a number of objects, we’ll glaze and fire our final pieces with food safe glaze to be taken home. Parents will receive an email 2-3 weeks after class when pieces are fired and ready to be picked up.

*Art-making requires consistent practice. All 5-6-week classes can be taken multiple times to help students improve their skills.
