Current and Upcoming Exhibits
Stuck Together: Collage and Assemblage Opening Reception
The Edwardsville Arts Center is pleased to present Stuck Together: Collage and Assemblage as its final exhibition at its current location at 6165 Center Grove Rd, Edwardsville IL.
Exhibition Dates: March 1 - March 30.
Curated by SIUE University Museum’s Executive Curator, Erin Vigneau-Dimick, this exhibit showcases artists whose works explore the marriage of fragments of objects and images. Combining elements that interact in a harmonious visual dialogue or introduce artistic dissonance with unusual juxtapositions, the artists capture new energies that create a dynamic work that is unique and greater than any individual elements alone.

David Bower, SIUE University Museum Collection

Joe Page: Flow Chart
Join us on Friday, Oct 22nd from 6-8pm for the opening reception of “Flow Chart” featuring the installation work of Joe Page! In the Student Gallery we’ll be featuring another installation entitled “Disposable…” by SIUE MFA candidate Debi Worley.
Both exhibits will be up through November 19th. Gallery visiting hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am - 3pm and Saturday from 11am - 3pm.
About the installations:
"The escapist allure of immersive environments drives my work, which orients the viewer in a place of comfort and curiosity. The vibrant colors, reductive imagery, and illustrated movements within the “Flow Chart” series of installations are deceptively simple, derivative of early video games, pinball machines, mass transit maps, and schematic diagrams."
- A segment of Joe Page's artist statement
"As an artist, educator and mother, Debi Zoe Worley calls attention to the interrupted language development of children during this time of covid. Her exhibition entitled, “Disposable…” references the lost moments of language opportunities over these past 18 months."
