6th-8th Grade: Watercolor Painting
In this class, students will explore painting techniques with watercolor paints. Watercolor requires a different approach than acrylic paints, so we’ll learn how to appropriately handle the paper, paints, and water. Additionally, we’ll cover design elements and principles, such as form, value, texture, balance, and how painting can be used to express feelings and ideas.
