Wheel Throwing

Wheel Throwing, Feb 27th - April 3rd

In this class, students will learn how to use the potter’s wheel to create forms such as cups, bowls, plates, and more! Wheel throwing is a fun, challenging, and relaxing method of making pottery. After making a number of objects, we’ll glaze and fire our final pieces with food safe glaze to be taken home.

Open Studio Option: After students have taken one 6-week ceramics class with us, they are welcome to join us at Open Studio on Tuesday evenings! For Open Studio, students are asked to purchase a bag of clay and associated glaze (you can register for Open Studio week by week on the main Ceramics page, and purchase on our website, HERE)

*This class is open to beginning students as well as those with more experience.

*Art-making requires consistent practice. All 5-6-week classes can be taken multiple times to help students improve their skills.
