Wheel Throwing: Forms with Handles

Wheel Throwing: Pouring Vessels

This class will focus on adding spouts and handles to objects we throw on the wheel. We’ll focus on forms that typically perform pouring functions, such as pitchers, ewers, etc. After making a number of objects, we’ll glaze and fire our final pieces with food safe glaze to be taken home. To take this class, you must have taken at least two sessions of Intro to Wheel Throwing with us (or the equivalent at a different institution). Contact us if you have questions about your eligibility for the class.

After students have taken a 6-week ceramics class with us, they are welcome to join us at Open Studio on Tuesday evenings! Class is $10/night, and students are asked to purchase a bag of clay and associated glaze. Both can be purchased on our website HERE.
