In this class, students will learn to use handbuilding techniques to create objects out of clay. We’ll learn about methods such as slabs, coiling, and pinching to create functional dishware that can be used at home! When our work is complete, we’ll glaze and fire our work with food safe glaze to be taken home.
After students have taken an Intro ceramics class with us, they are welcome to join us at Open Studio on Tuesday evenings! Class is $10/night, and students are asked to purchase a bag of clay and associated glaze. Both can be purchased on our website HERE.
