Help us Transform our

Interim Space!

Support the EAC as we move into a new location

As advocates for the arts, we are reaching out to invite you to become a valued supporter of the Edwardsville Arts Center (EAC) community. Your support is crucial in fostering a vibrant arts community and ensuring the continued success of our community arts center as we transition into an interim space.

How Does Your Support Benefit the EAC and Our Community?

The Edwardsville Arts Center, a  501(c)3 nonprofit, is a collective of donors, students and volunteers, with diverse interests and backgrounds, united by a love for art. Your support contributes to the richness and purpose that art brings to our lives and the community. Here's how EAC benefited our community in 2023:

  • Produced the 9th annual Edwardsville Art Fair, a 3-day, free cultural event, featuring over 100 professional artists, local performing arts, art demonstrations, a children’s art gallery, and a children’s Maker’s Space. This event attracts 12,000+ visitors in the celebration of the arts.

  • Hosted 600+ children at our Free Saturday art classes.

  • Exhibited more than 200 professional artists at the EAC Gallery.

  • Exhibited works of art from more than 500 students in the Dennis DeToye Student Gallery.

  • Provided art education to over 2000 students of all ages

  • Provided community outreach at local events with free art projects and art demonstrations for all ages.

  • Sought opportunities to provide affordable art making for all, regardless of financial status.

What’s Happening Next?

2024 brings another year of exciting art opportunities, and a new set of challenges. In May, 2024 the EAC’s lease with District 7 will expire. We have acquired a 2-year lease with the City of Edwardsville to utilize the  recently decommissioned Montclaire Firehouse located at 340 Montclaire Ave, in Edwardsville. All updates to the building are EAC’s financial responsibility, and the new location requires updates to meet ADA and occupancy mandates. In addition, we must purchase equipment and tools we will no longer have access to in our shared space with the high school. As we work toward outfitting the firestation for art programming opportunities, your continued support matters more than ever.

Please consider becoming a Sustaining Donor today with a contribution to support the Edwardsville Arts Center and help us to inspire the lives of children and the creative spirit of adults through accessible art experiences for all. Any sized contribution will help! Thank you for your consideration.
